I actually love the almost, ponte-y like material, and the shoulder pads. BUT the stretchy waistband is tight and tends to ride up to the narrowest part of your waist which then looks cropped. I have a 27" waist and bought an XS and love that size. A small probably is recommended, but I found the top to poof out over the waistband too much w/ a small. Looks great w/ the matching skirt in my opinion. Bought the yellow, but returned it for the tan color.So not worth it. Way to big something about this shirt was offThe front is big, flat, with huge shoulder pads with a gathered waist that is tight, tight, tight... at least on me! Not my style, even though I thought I would like it from the photo. I really don't think I can go back to the 80s...too many bad memories! Haha!
